ChaeHoon You’s photographs go beyond simply recording scenes from everyday life. He brings the sensations, timing, and ways of observing the world into his images, turning everyday views into something that can be reinterpreted. In this exhibition VIEW2325, sharply captured landscapes are shown alongside more abstract images where slight blur, movement, or shifts in focus create softened and fragmented forms. Although these photographs differ in tone and clarity, they all reveal layers of perception the artist encounters in daily life.
Light that trembles, forms shifting through reflection, and colors overlapping like stains may seem accidental. Yet these elements arise naturally as the artist receives and responds to his surroundings, becoming meaningful clues that shape each image.
