Statement
Artist, Tattoo artist, and Graphic designer.
Born in 1993 in Osaka, Japan. Began working as a tattoo artist before moving to Tokyo in 2014. After working at a multi-brand apparel shop in Harajuku, he expanded his practice to graphic design. He later established “TAPPEI ROOM,” a tattoo studio and creative office in Nakameguro. In 2022, he collaborated with brands such as NIKE, UNDERCOVER, and BEAMS. In 2023, he made his first overseas appearance as a guest tattoo artist and began publishing a four-panel comic series in the culture magazine EYESCREAM.. Tappei sees every surface, canvas, his own body, human skin, the ground, clothing, as a platform for artistic expression.

아티스트, 타투 아티스트, 그래픽 디자이너.
1993년 일본 오사카 출생. 타투 아티스트로 활동을 시작했으며, 2014년부터 도쿄를 거점으로 활동하고 있다. 하라주쿠의 멀티 브랜드 패션 숍에서 근무한 뒤, 그래픽 디자이너로도 작업 영역을 확장했다.
이후 나카메구로에 타투 스튜디오 겸 오피스인 ‘TAPPEI ROOM’을 설립했다. 2022년에는 NIKE, UNDERCOVER, BEAMS 등과 협업 작업을 선보였으며, 2023년에는 첫 해외 게스트 타투 작업을 진행하고, 컬처 매거진 EYESCREAM에 4컷 만화 연재를 시작했다. 타페이는 캔버스, 자신의 신체, 인간의 피부, 땅, 옷 등 모든 표면을 자신의 표현 무대로 삼아 작업을 이어가고 있다.
